I grew up knowing horses - unpredictable characters who kept me close to nature. My journeys with them, down quiet country lanes, overgrown paths and into unknown woodland fed my curiosity. I could explore anywhere - solitary places that, as a child, I would never normally have dared to go.

Similarly, my creative work takes me on exciting journeys. It doesn’t always follow a well trodden pathway in subject or materials but my main priority is to make work that sits close to my heart whilst using materials that work in harmony with nature.
